Chris Tombs is a highly experienced Performance Coach & VBT Specialist with SW7 Academy. With his 20 years of coaching and management experience, Chris has a verifiable track record of player development and enhancing the performance of individuals and teams in professional and Olympic sports, including: England Women’s Rugby team, Leicester Tigers, Cardiff Blues, USA Women’s 7’s and 15’s Rugby teams, USA Men’s 7’s and 15’s Rugby, Northamptonshire County Cricket Club, Mike Jones DH MTB, Seattle Seawolves.
Steve Thompson is a Senior Lecturer and Course Leader for the MSc in Strength and Conditioning (S&C) Coaching at Sheffield Hallam University. He is also an accredited S&C coach, PhD candidate, early-career researcher, and Employability Lead. His teaching, research, and applied interests include resistance training, programming, prescription, and periodisation; the application of technology to training and performance; testing and monitoring practices; and youth development. He currently teaches across all levels of undergraduate and postgraduate study.
